Onshore
GWC USA supports its customers with Ball Valves for Onshore liquid and gas (including Hydrogen) facilities for gathering in midstream and upstream applications extending to processing and storage.
We manufacture pipeline Ball valves through to 64” NB, designed to ensure suitability and accommodate product throughput including further research into renewables, optimizing specialist sealing technology, whether metal or soft seated.
Valve designs offered include Floating & Trunnion Mounted Side Entry Bolted, Top Entry and All Welded designs as well as Double Block & Bleed. These valves take into consideration climatic and other environmental challenges in addition to fluid process to select the optimum design and material to achieve its desired design life.
Many of our Ball Valves are available from our distribution network upon request. Special internal coatings are applied when addressing very sour and erosive conditions, whether on dynamic seals or when fully clad solutions are required. Options of body materials entirely in alloys or super alloys are also available.

Distribution
We are a North American manufacturer and distributor. We are also a manufacturer of engineered Ball Valves. Our Bakersfield, California & Houston, Texas operations serve all of the United States and Canadian distribution business needs.
We cater mainly to Midstream and Upstream markets. Our inventory of Ball, Gate, Globe and Check Valves range from ½” NB – 36” NB, Carbon Steel to full Stainless-Steel bodies. We are able to offer combinations of trims and specialization.
We have the ability to draw from our global Ball valve plant operations in Europe & Asia to support our US manufacturing and distribution business.

Offshore
GWC USA offers advanced solutions for all liquid and gas applications in Offshore environments due to continued demand for Oil and Gas in shallow and deep waters.
Offshore regulations demand a wide range of technologies and adherence to the highest international pipeline design standards and safety integrity levels, encountering many more challenging conditions such as extreme weather, tidal sea currents, the general marine environment, and high process flow/pressure requirements. Presence of chemicals and sand leads to corrosion and erosion, a significant factor to be considered when selecting
valve materials and designs.
Offshore applications are also faced with limited space and associated access, in cases unmanned. GWC USA provides solutions whether as ESD applications on riser pipelines, or compact weight, and space saving Ball Valve designs for fixed and floating production operations. Important considerations are made with material selection to optimize valve suitability in such demanding conditions.

LNG
GWC USA offers a wide range of cryogenic service Ball Valves installed with LNG transmission, treatment, liquefaction and storage, whether onshore or on floating production & storage vessels.
Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) comprises between 85% & 90% methane gas, it undertakes several processes of treatment from condensate removal, gas treatment and liquefaction to transfer and storage. The liquified gas is easily transferred by specialist tankers to world markets or via pipelines.
Ball valves required to operate down to -161°C presents a series of challenges in the design, manufacturing and testing of these valves, in particular the seals become prone to hardening and at risk of failure in service.
GWC USA has invested extensively in developing a wide range of cryogenic Floating and Trunnion Ball Valves with in-house cryogenic testing facilities to prove designs and ensure they meet detailed testing and validation requirements prior to shipment.
